Cookie policy.
Every cookie we set on this site, what it does, how long it lasts, and how to opt out.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Some cookies keep you signed in, remember your preferences, or measure traffic. Others track activity across sites for advertising. This page covers every cookie we set, organized by purpose.
Essential cookies
These load on every page because the site needs them to function. They do not track you across sites.
- nuun_consent_mode — stores your region's default consent model (opt-in vs opt-out). 12 months.
- nuun_consent_choice — records whether you've accepted, declined, or customized. 12 months.
- nuun_session — session identifier for form state and rate limiting. Expires when you close the browser.
Analytics cookies (consent-gated)
We use Google Analytics 4 in cookieless-compatible mode where possible. These cookies load only after consent.
- _ga — GA4 client identifier. 13 months.
- _ga_<container-id> — session tracking for GA4. 13 months.
Marketing cookies (consent-gated)
These attribute campaign performance. They only load with explicit consent and they only set on pages where a campaign is active.
- __hstc, hubspotutk, __hssrc, __hssc — HubSpot visitor identification, used only to match form submissions back to campaigns. 6–13 months.
- li_at, lidc, bcookie, UserMatchHistory — LinkedIn Insight Tag, used for conversion tracking on paid campaigns. 1–12 months. Only loads when you arrive from a LinkedIn campaign URL.
How to change your mind
Clear the nuun_consent_choice cookie in your browser to re-open the consent banner on your next visit. You can also clear all cookies in your browser settings, block third-party cookies, or use a privacy extension. The site is designed to function on a minimal cookie set. To request deletion of any data already collected, email privacy [at] nuundigital [dot] com.
Regions with opt-in defaults
EU, UK, Switzerland, Brazil (LGPD), and Quebec (Law 25) visitors see a consent prompt on first load; non-essential cookies do not load until you accept. All other regions default to opt-out with a visible control — consistent with CCPA/CPRA for California visitors.
Do Not Track
We honour browser Do-Not-Track (DNT) signals by treating DNT=1 as an opt-out for analytics and marketing cookies, even in opt-out jurisdictions.
